Soil & Advanced Soil Mechanics Laboratory

In the Soil Mechanics Laboratory of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, educational activities for undergraduate students as well as research and investigative activities for master’s and PhD students are carried out. This laboratory is equipped with triaxial, uniaxial, direct shear, and CBR testing devices. The Advanced Soil Mechanics Laboratory of the faculty is also furnished with a wide range of modern and advanced laboratory instruments and equipment, some of which have been developed by researchers and graduate students of the Geotechnical Engineering group.
